Village Inn Makes Large Food Donation
to Food Bank
of the Rockies
DENVER (November 24, 2008) – Village Inn Restaurants, a division of VICORP Restaurants, Inc.,
announced today that it made a substantial food donation to the Food Bank of the Rockies. The
donation comes just in time for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Kevin Seggelke, president of Food Bank of the Rockies, said, “This is the most difficult economy
I have seen in the six years I’ve been at the food bank. This gesture from the employees of
Village Inn, especially during the holiday, is greatly appreciated and will help brighten spirits by

DENVER (November 6, 2008) – Village Inn Restaurants, a division of VICORP, Inc., announced
that in celebration of its 50th Anniversary, a series of exciting events will be happening in all
Village Inn corporate restaurants during the month of November.

VICORP Restaurants Receives New Funding
DENVER (October 13, 2008) – VICORP Restaurants Inc., which operates Village Inn and
Bakers Square restaurants, announced that it reached an agreement with its current debtor-inpossession
lenders, Wells Fargo Foothill Inc., and Ableco Finance LLC to raise additional
funding to support its operation.
The new facility provides an additional $7,000,000 to meet VICORP’s short term working
capital requirement needs. As a condition of the new loan agreement, VICORP agreed to
expedite the sale of the company. The sale process is to be completed by January 31, 2009. Piper Jaffrey & Co., VICORP’s current financial advisor, is leading the sale process.
